Canolfan Tryweryn, North Wales
A natural river managed by Canoe Wales and fed by a dam that holds back the water of Lyn Celyn in North Wales.
This site runs on between 8-12 cumecs and has long stretches of continuous whitewater.
The site hosted the canoe slalom world championships in 1981 and has hosted many international and domestic events since then.
