GB Canoeing Canoe Slalom Funded Programmes

This page is specific to Canoe Slalom and contains the specific information on inclusion to the canoe slalom programme.

The Olympic Podium Programme inclusion criteria are published prior to the first selection race each year (around March / April) and outline the criteria being used to determine who is offered a place on the programme at the end of the season.
The criteria is fully based upon results at International level with key performances required at Championship events. With there being a limit of places on the programme, the document provides an objective scoring system to determine the order of those considered. The annual review process takes place in October with the programme running from 1 January to 31 December each year. The Inclusion criteria for 2011/12 are available here.

This file below provide all the inclusion information and the method of points scoring will be published prior to selection in April 2011.

GB Canoeing Canoe Slalom ODP Inclusion Policy 2011-12 Inclusion on a GB Canoeing programme is not just subject to achievement of minimum performances, but also it is subject to acceptance of the CORE philosophy and embracing the GB Canoeing Winning Margins Programme.
